The Anti-Hunger Action Committee is a membership
organization for food pantry clients based in Salt Lake City, Utah.
AHAC organizes low income people to participate in policy debates about
poverty issues that impact them directly. Issues AHAC members have
worked on range from fighting cuts to bus service to reducing cuts to
Utah's Medicaid Program to simplifying the paperwork burden for Utah's
Food Stamp Program. AHAC is led by a Board of Directors that meets on the third Tuesday of each month at Crossroads Urban Center at 5:30 PM. |
